The final installment of interviews from Microsoft Tech Ed US 2007 in Orlando, Richard and Greg talk to Jeff Sigman, the Release Manager for Network Access Protection (NAP). Jeff digs into exactly what NAP is all about, how it interact with Windows Server 2008, Vista and Windows XP.

 

Jeff Sigman is the Release Manager of Network Access Protection (NAP), an exciting new feature in the upcoming release of Windows Server. Jeff has run the gamut of engineering roles in his 10 years with the company. He started in Product Support for Windows NT 4.0, to Software Testing on NT 5.0 (Windows 2000), and then on to Software Development for Windows XP through to Windows Vista. Jeff is currently a Program Manager for Windows Server 2008 working on the top feature of the release - NAP of course. His contributions to networking Windows computers have been in many areas including Routing and Remote Access (RRAS), VPN, IPsec, Windows Firewall and NAP.
